BETHLEHEM MUSICIAN CRITICALLY INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH; FUNDRAISER LAUNCHED
A Connecticut musician was critically injured in a motorcycle crash in Millerton, New York, on June 29, which also resulted in one fatality.
Eran Troy Danner, a blues artist from Bethlehem, and his friend Tim Nurnberg were struck head-on by a vehicle while traveling to Woodstock. Nurnberg died at the scene, while Danner was transported to Vassar Hospital in critical condition.
According to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on State Route 22. Responding crews confirmed one fatality and one serious injury involving two motorcycles and a motor vehicle. Authorities have not released the identities of the individuals involved. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Danner’s sister, Dana Fiebig, stated that he has undergone three surgeries and has since been moved to Westchester Medical Center, where he will remain in the ICU for an extended period.
A GoFundMe page has been launched to assist with Danner’s medical expenses and household costs, which has raised nearly $90,000 as of Monday evening. Donations will cover ongoing medical bills and unexpected expenses during his recovery.
