Motorcycle Crash in Millerton, NY, Leaves One Dead, Another Critically Injured

A head-on motorcycle crash on June 29 in Millerton, NY, resulted in one fatality and left a Connecticut musician in critical condition.

According to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on State Route 22 involving two motorcycles and a car. One motorcyclist was killed, identified as 43-year-old Tim Nurnberg, while the other, 42-year-old Eran Troy Danner, was transported to Vassar Hospital with critical injuries.

Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene, and the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Officials have not released further details regarding potential contributing factors.

Danner’s sister, Dana Fiebig, stated that he has undergone three surgeries and has since been moved to Westchester Medical Center, where he will remain in the ICU for an extended period. A GoFundMe page launched to assist with Danner’s medical expenses has raised nearly $90,000 to date.

In a separate GoFundMe for Nurnberg, organizers remembered him as a devoted father and friend who was passionate about life and those around him. His family described him as someone who could bring joy and laughter to any situation.
