Dayton Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident.

A motorcycle crash on April 18 near marker 7 on Nevada 341 in Storey County resulted in one fatality and one serious injury.

Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the two-motorcycle collision at approximately 10:40 a.m. Sean Labrie, 47, of Sparks, was traveling southbound when he lost control of his 2012 white KTM Racer motorcycle, crossing into the northbound lane and colliding head-on with Kevin Mcintire, 62, of Dayton, who was riding a 2009 white Aprilia motorcycle.

Mcintire was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center by Care Flight with critical injuries and was pronounced dead on Thursday. Labrie was also injured and is in serious condition at Renown.

Authorities reported that alcohol or drugs were not factors in the crash. Both travel lanes on Nevada 341 were closed for several hours for investigation, with NDOT traffic control rerouting vehicles.
