Maryland
Three Killed in Bowie Plane Crash
A single-engine Piper Cherokee crashed near a residential neighborhood in Bowie around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, resulting in the deaths of three men. The plane was traveling from Ocean City, New Jersey, to Montgomery County Airpark. Identities are withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to Maryland State Police.
Motorcycle Collision in Rockville
Two motorcycles collided on Norbeck Road around 1:16 a.m. Sunday, leading to one rider’s death. The rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second motorcycle rider was unharmed and remained at the scene. The Montgomery County Collision Reconstruction Unit is conducting an investigation.
Fatal E-Bike Crash in Rehoboth Beach
A 66-year-old woman from Potomac, Maryland, died following an e-bike crash on Coastal Highway around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. A GMC Sierra struck her e-bike as she entered travel lanes. She was transported to a hospital, where she later died. The driver was not injured, and the roadway was closed for about two hours during the investigation.

Pedestrian Fatally Struck on GW Parkway
A male pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on the northbound lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway near Columbia Island around 4 a.m. Saturday, according to U.S. Park Police.
Fairfax County Single-Vehicle Crash
Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 2:15 a.m. Sunday on I-95 at Route 286. Two of the three occupants died at the scene. The vehicle struck guardrail and went down an embankment.

Moped Rider Killed in Car Chase Incident
One person died, and three were arrested following a car chase that ended with a collision involving a moped in Northwest D.C. at approximately 5:40 p.m. Saturday. The driver of a stolen vehicle fled from officers and struck the moped near Connecticut Avenue.
Shooting Victim Found in Southeast D.C.
D.C. police are investigating the shooting death of 20-year-old Manuel Enrique Garcia Reyes, found inside a car on Bruce Place SE around 11:50 a.m. Saturday. The shooting is believed to have occurred in the 1400 block of Shippen Lane SE. No arrests have been made.
