TULLY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A motorcycle crash on State Route 281 claimed a life on Wednesday morning.
According to New York State Police, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an SUV collided with a motorcycle while making a left turn from a parking lot onto Route 281. The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
An alert from NY-Alert confirmed the closure of all lanes in both directions between Meeting House Road and Preble Road due to the incident. **All lanes have since reopened.**
The driver of the SUV was uninjured. The New York State Department of Transportation and New York State Police are on scene managing traffic and clearing the area.
The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) and Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) are assisting with an ongoing investigation.
