Motorcyclist Killed in Sangamon County Accident on Dirksen Parkway

Sangamon County, Illinois (July 16, 2023) – A deadly crash involving a motorcyclist occurred in Sangamon County on Saturday night, according to the authorities.

The incident happened on East Enos and Dirksen Parkway just before 7:30 p.m. on July 15.

According to the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office, a black Chrysler was making a left turn on Dirksen when it collided with a motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated for their injuries at the scene.
