DICKINSON — A motorcycle crash in Dickinson on Friday evening has resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. at the intersection of 15th Street West and 3rd Avenue West, involving a motorcycle operated by the man and a pickup driven by a 16-year-old female with additional passengers.
According to the Dickinson Police Department, the motorcyclist was transported to CHI St. Alexius Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries hours later. Authorities reported no injuries among the other driver or the passengers in the pickup.
Emergency responders from the Dickinson Police Department and Dickinson Fire Medics were on the scene. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is conducting the ongoing investigation. Lane closures were in effect during the emergency response.
