NEAR JEROME, Mo. (KY3) – A Doolittle man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway D near Jerome at approximately 4 p.m. Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 25-year-old motorcyclist lost control while navigating a turn, veering into oncoming traffic.
The motorcycle collided with an SUV; the rider was confirmed to be wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The driver of the SUV reported no injuries. The crash marks the fourth fatality in Troop I for 2026, which oversees six counties in south-central Missouri.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not indicated if any charges will be filed.
