A fatal crash closed northbound U.S. 395 in Washoe County early Monday morning, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to the incident just after 1:30 a.m. near White Lake Parkway in Cold Springs. Authorities reported that a sport utility vehicle left the roadway and attempted to correct itself, lost control, and overturned.
The driver, an adult male, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Northbound lanes were closed for several hours while emergency crews responded and conducted an investigation. The roadway has since reopened, and the crash remains under investigation.
