Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on East Burnside Street in Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. — A fatal crash involving a motorcycle occurred on East Burnside Street at approximately 9 p.m. Monday, resulting in a roadway closure for several hours.
The incident took place between Northeast 22nd and Northeast 26th avenues, closing the street to traffic. East Burnside has since reopened.
According to Portland Police, the motorcyclist succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene; however, authorities have not released the motorcyclist’s identity.
The Major Crash Team is leading the investigation. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact police.
