An Easton man died in a motorcycle crash on Route 8 in Thomaston Sunday afternoon, according to state police.
Authorities identified the victim as 68-year-old John Kastanaras. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. near exit 40 when Kastanaras lost control of his motorcycle and struck a guardrail.
Kastanaras was transported to Waterbury Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
