84-Year-Old Lincoln Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Route 6
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Maine — An 84-year-old man from Lincoln died in a motorcycle accident on Route 6 Wednesday afternoon, according to Maine State Police.
Authorities identified the victim as Dean Bradbury. He was traveling westbound around 3:25 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle while navigating a left-hand curve, veering off the road into a wooded area. Bradbury was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that Bradbury was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The crash is under investigation.
Maine State Police received assistance at the scene from the Maine Warden Service, the Maine Forestry Service, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
