A 21-year-old man from Eldon was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Miller County at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The incident occurred on Route W, just east of Lighthouse Road, when the motorcyclist crossed the center line and collided with a Ford Expedition. The driver of the SUV, a 67-year-old man, reported no injuries.
Emergency responders transported the injured motorcyclist to Lake Regional Hospital via a Miller County ambulance. Authorities noted that the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
