Motorcycle Collision Leaves One Dead, Another Injured in Lafourche Parish
LAFOURCHE PARISH, LA — A motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 90 in Lafourche Parish resulted in one fatality and one injury on Saturday, March 5, 2023.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. involving two motorcycles traveling westbound. According to Louisiana State Police, one rider, a 33-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other, a 29-year-old male, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Emergency services arrived promptly, and both motorcycles required towing from the scene. Authorities closed the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 90 during the investigation, which is currently ongoing.
