Family Remembers Motorcyclist as North Dakota Police Release Image of His Final Moments.

Warman Man Dies in North Dakota Motorcycle Crash; Truck Driver Sought

WARMAN, SASK. — Randy Moore, 55, died on Sept. 8 during a motorcycle trip in North Dakota, prompting his family to appeal for information about a truck involved in the incident.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Moore lost control of his motorcycle after a black truck swerved into his lane, causing him to crash. He died at the scene on U.S. Highway 85. No other vehicles were reported to be involved, but witnesses indicated erratic driving by the truck prior to the crash.

Moore was traveling with three friends from Saskatchewan to Sturgis, S.D., when the accident occurred. His common-law partner, Vicky Pravda, expressed hope that the driver will come forward. “This person, we really hope he comes forward with information,” she stated.

Police circulated footage from Moore’s helmet camera, which reportedly captures the final moments of the crash, with the truck visible in the wrong lane. “It is believed the driver may have information relating to a fatal motorcycle crash,” the Patrol wrote on social media.

Authorities have received a few leads regarding the truck, but the vehicle’s location remains uncertain as suspects have been known to leave North Dakota. The investigation is ongoing, and lane closures were implemented following the crash.

Moore’s family visited the crash site to seek closure, noting tire marks from an errant vehicle. “It’s good to know that this is at no fault of his own,” Moore’s daughter said. The family continues to grieve their loss while seeking justice.
