Fargo Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Car at Broadway Intersection
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A 31-year-old Fargo man died following a motorcycle crash at the intersection of 29th Avenue North and Broadway on August 9.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), the motorcyclist, identified as Alex Frank, was traveling southbound on Broadway and failed to stop for a red light around 2:41 p.m. He collided with a Toyota Corolla on the passenger side, resulting in a t-bone crash. Frank was thrown from the motorcycle and not wearing a helmet at the time.
Emergency responders transported Frank to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Corolla, a 59-year-old woman from Fargo, was wearing a seatbelt and did not sustain injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by NDHP.
