Farmington Woman Killed in Onondaga County Motorcycle Crash.

MARCELLUS, N.Y. — A motorcycle crash on Route 20 Sunday morning resulted in the death of a 55-year-old woman and injuries to a 55-year-old man.

The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. at the intersection of Route 20 and Slate Hill Road. According to New York State Police, the motorcycle collided with a car that did not yield the right-of-way while stopped on Slate Hill Road.

Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle during the crash. Karyn Stratton, a passenger, was transported to Upstate University Hospital where she later died. The motorcycle driver, whose identity is not yet released, remains hospitalized but is reported to have non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
