YERINGTON, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash on US-95A in Yerington on March 20.
The accident occurred around 10:35 a.m. on US-95A, involving one driver in each vehicle.
Medical personnel confirmed one driver dead at the scene, while the other was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The identity of the deceased has not been released.
US-95A is closed in both directions between McLeod Street and Luzier Lane, with lane closures expected to last 5 to 6 hours.
Authorities advise the public to avoid the area during the investigation and cleanup.
