WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A 48-year-old man from Phillipsburg died in a motorcycle crash on South Delaware Drive on October 7 at about 7 p.m.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the motorcycle was traveling south when it lost control and ejected the rider. The motorcycle subsequently slid into the northbound lane, where it was struck by another vehicle, resulting in both vehicles catching fire.
Emergency responders pronounced the Phillipsburg man dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with suspected injuries, authorities said.
South Delaware Drive was closed during the investigation and cleanup. State Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
