At around 6:49 p.m. on [Date], Nevada State Police responded to a crash on I-80 near USA Parkway.
A sedan carrying three occupants collided with a commercial vehicle, resulting in two fatalities. Both the driver and one passenger of the sedan were pronounced dead at the scene, while a second passenger was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the commercial vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities during the investigation.
I-80 westbound is currently closed, with lane closures expected to last several hours due to the ongoing investigation and vehicle recovery efforts.
