BOONE COUNTY, Ark. — A 24-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision on State Highway 7 on June 17, 2026.
According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Dalton Stanford of Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene around 6:54 p.m. Authorities reported that Stanford was riding a 2004 Harley-Davidson northbound when he crossed the center line in a curve and collided with a southbound 2026 Chevrolet driven by 71-year-old Peggy Barnes of Lead Hill.
Barnes sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. The Arkansas State Police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
Stanford’s next of kin have been notified.
