A motorcycle crash on Salt Point Turnpike in Pleasant Valley, NY, on Saturday resulted in the death of a 59-year-old man.
According to the New York State Police, the accident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. on March 14, 2026. Troopers responded to a head-on collision involving a three-wheeled motorcycle and a Mercedes-Benz.
William G. Coulston, of Millbrook, NY, was riding a 2025 Can-Am Spyder westbound on Salt Point Turnpike when he crossed the double yellow line and struck the Mercedes. He was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, where he was pronounced dead.
The occupants of the Mercedes were not injured. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
