Motorcyclist Killed in Freeway Transition Crash in Industry
INDUSTRY, CA — A deadly motorcycle crash occurred early Saturday morning, April 18, on the transition from the eastbound Pomona 60 Freeway to the northbound San Gabriel River 605 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) received the report at approximately 2:23 a.m.
Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed pending family notification. A SigAlert was issued at 2:46 a.m., closing the connector until 6:01 a.m.
Authorities confirmed that the vehicle involved was a single motorcycle. An investigation is ongoing, and officials have not released additional details regarding potential contributing factors.
