A fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Interstate 270 in Obetz late Saturday night, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At approximately 11 p.m., two motorcycles were traveling westbound on I-270 near Alum Creek Drive. One motorcycle, a Kawasaki Ninja 400, reportedly lost control, causing the driver to be ejected.
Medics from Hamilton Township pronounced the Kawasaki driver dead at the scene at 11:20 p.m. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
The second motorcycle, a Yamaha YZF-R3, was laid down by its driver, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. That individual was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center.
