Fatal Southside Arkansas Crash Leaves One Dead and Two Injured.

Southside, AR—Fatal Crash Claims One Life, Injures Two
A head-on collision at U.S. 167 and Nelly Belle Lane in Southside, Arkansas, on April 15, 2026, resulted in one fatality and two injuries.

According to the Arkansas State Police, 57-year-old Eddie Ray Stuckey of Judsonia was pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional individuals, 46-year-old Kristy Wood of Locust Grove and 62-year-old Connie Smith of Clinton, sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.

Investigators determined that Stuckey was driving a Nissan Altima, which crossed the center line and collided head-on with a GMC Acadia. The Altima then veered into the northbound lane, where it was struck by a Cadillac.

Authorities reported clear weather conditions and dry roadways at the time of the accident. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
