SARASOTA COUNTY – A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 75 near mile marker 193 in Sarasota County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash involved multiple vehicles and resulted in confirmed fatality. Emergency responders and FHP arrived on scene shortly after the incident was reported.
Northbound traffic was temporarily diverted at Exit 193, Jacaranda Boulevard, while emergency crews worked to clear the area. As of 7:30 a.m. on June 3, 2026, northbound lanes have been reopened.
FHP has not disclosed the names, ages, or hometowns of those involved, nor the direction of travel for each vehicle or the sequence of events leading to the crash.
