Clarksville, TN – A Fort Campbell soldier died in a motorcycle crash on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway Thursday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:24 p.m. involving an SUV and the motorcycle, according to a statement from the Clarksville Police Department. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead while en route to Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital.
Authorities confirmed that the deceased was an active-duty soldier, but have withheld the name pending next-of-kin notification. The driver of the SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries and required extrication from the vehicle.
