Four Fatal Crashes in Arkansas Leave Four Dead and Two Injured Over the Weekend
Four people died and two were injured in a series of crashes on Arkansas roads over the weekend, according to preliminary reports.
On Saturday, Jason Nole, 57, of Garfield, died in a motorcycle accident on Arkansas 23 in Carroll County at approximately 6:33 a.m. Nole was riding north when he left the roadway and struck a sign, authorities said.
Later that day, at 3:31 p.m., Milton Gasaway, 71, of Hot Springs Village, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Isabella Way. His 2018 Dodge left the road and collided with a tree; a passenger, Donna Gasaway, 71, also sustained injuries.
On Monday, two fatalities occurred in separate incidents. At 7:55 a.m., Jonathan Hurd, 38, of Bono, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Parker Road in Jonesboro. Hurd’s 2023 Honda struck a 2019 Ford F350 that turned into his path, according to Jonesboro Police.
Just under an hour later, at 8:46 a.m., William Warnick, 82, of Glenwood, died in a head-on collision on Interstate 30 near Arkadelphia. Warnick was driving east in the westbound lanes when his 2005 Buick collided with a 2026 Ford Transit van. The trailer of a westbound 2022 Freightliner then struck the rear of Warnick’s vehicle. Authorities reported that Dexter Christian, 56, of Conyers, GA, the driver of the Ford, was injured in the incident.
Emergency crews responded to all incidents, and investigations are ongoing.
