Multiple Vehicle Collision on I-40 Leaves One Dead, Several Injured

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 near mile marker 132 resulted in one death and multiple injuries on Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. when a chain-reaction collision involving six vehicles took place while heading eastbound. Authorities confirmed one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while at least four others sustained injuries.

Emergency responders from the ARKANSAS STATE POLICE and local fire departments were dispatched to the scene, providing medical aid and transporting the injured to nearby hospitals.
