Four people were injured in a vehicle crash in Laclede County on Friday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 2:50 p.m. on Highway 5 at Hazel Road. A 2025 Nissan Pathfinder was turning left when it was struck from behind by a 2004 Toyota Camry, causing the Nissan to enter the southbound lane and collide with a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.
The driver of the Toyota, a 28-year-old man from Lebanon, sustained serious injuries. The driver of the Nissan, a 53-year-old woman from Lebanon, along with the driver of the Chevrolet, a 24-year-old woman from Eldridge, and a four-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries.
All individuals involved were transported to hospitals for medical treatment. MSHP confirmed that all were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The investigation is ongoing, and details regarding lane closures or towing are not available at this time.
