The Charleston Police Department has identified four individuals who died in a crash near the I-64/I-77 split on August 21.
Victims are:
• James McDaniel, 20
• Colten Garcia, 20
• Kaden Ashby, 21
• Kaiden Radford, 21
All victims were residents of Raleigh County, Authorities said.
The incident is still under investigation by the Charleston Police Department’s Investigation Unit.

Four fatalities were confirmed following a vehicle crash on I-77, according to the Charleston Police Department.
The accident occurred just before 11 p.m. on August 21, near the 64/77 split. Responders from the Charleston Police Department and the Charleston Fire Department found a vehicle that had struck a cement barrier, went over the interstate, and landed at the Martin Marietta Charleston Yard, located at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue.
All four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, Authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – At least two fatalities were reported late Friday night after a vehicle left Interstate 64 around Pennsylvania Avenue, said the Charleston Police Department.
The crash was logged before 10:45 p.m. on August 21. Additional information is forthcoming.
