FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — A motorcycle crash in Fresno County early Thursday resulted in the death of 47-year-old Francisco Fonseca Razo of Reedley.
The California Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred around 6 a.m. on Reed Avenue, north of Annadale Avenue. A southbound Lexus attempted to overtake another vehicle, entering the northbound lanes and colliding head-on with Razo’s motorcycle.
Razo was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lexus driver, who sustained no injuries, is cooperating with law enforcement during the investigation.
Authorities indicated that alcohol or drugs do not appear to have played a role in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details regarding road closures or traffic disruptions were provided.
