WOODBURN, Ore. (KPTV) – A motorcyclist died following a collision with a pickup truck near the intersection of Butteville Road and Le Brun Road Tuesday night.
Cyrus Pino, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured and has cooperated with law enforcement, according to police.
Witnesses reported the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Pino was the president of the Twisted Fate Motorcycle Riding Club, and a memorial ride took place Saturday evening to honor him.
During the ride, Pino’s wife, Victoria, reflected on his character and their upcoming anniversary, stating, “He was a loving person, a caring person, and an amazing person.” The couple was expecting their first child, a daughter named Anaieli, due soon.
A GoFundMe has been established to provide support for Victoria and their child as they navigate this loss. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
