Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 123 Results in Injuries
A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 123 near Exit 45 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Oct. 7, 2023.
Authorities reported that four vehicles were involved in the crash, leading to at least three confirmed injuries. Emergency responders from the local Fire Department, as well as paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to provide medical aid.
According to the POLICE DEPARTMENT, two of the injured were transported to local hospitals for further treatment. The conditions of the injured individuals have not been disclosed.
Due to the accident, both eastbound lanes of Highway 123 were closed for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the scene. Traffic is currently being diverted through alternate routes.
