GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) – An 18-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a pickup truck on Thursday evening.
According to the Grand Forks Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on May 22 at the intersection of 32nd Ave S. and S. 31st St.
Investigators reported that Jordan Anderson’s motorcycle struck a pickup truck making a left turn, becoming lodged underneath the vehicle. Both vehicles ignited shortly after the collision.
Authorities said Anderson suffered severe, incapacitating injuries and was transported for medical treatment. The driver of the pickup, 48-year-old Samuel Turner from Mesa, AZ, was uninjured.
The Grand Forks Police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
