LYNNWOOD, WA—A motorcycle accident on southbound I-5 near Lynnwood resulted in the death of 20-year-old Tyler J. Conaway, of Granite Falls, at 11:22 p.m. on July 18, 2025.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Conaway was riding a 2011 Ducati motorcycle when he collided with the rear tire of a Ford F350 while merging into the adjacent lane. South County Fire pronounced him dead at the scene; he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Authorities stated that there are no indications of drug or alcohol involvement in the accident. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
No lane closures were reported following the incident.
