HARRISBURG MAN DIES IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH NEAR WATERTOWN
WATERTOWN, S.D. — A Harrisburg man succumbed to injuries from a motorcycle crash on Wednesday night, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on November 5, law enforcement responded to a crash at Meadow Lake Road and 29th Street Southeast, located approximately two miles south of Watertown. A 2012 Harley Davidson, traveling northbound, lost control, resulting in the rider being thrown from the motorcycle.
Emergency responders transported the rider to a Watertown hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was later transferred to a Sioux Falls hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s name has not been released pending family notification.
Authorities confirmed the investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been disclosed.
