A 25-year-old man from Hayden died in a motorcycle accident north of Prichard, Idaho, on Sunday night.
According to Idaho State Police, the man was riding a Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle on Coeur D’Alene River Road when he lost control, left the roadway, and crashed along the shoulder.
Authorities confirmed he was pronounced dead at the scene; he was wearing a helmet and riding boots.
The roadway experienced closures for approximately 2.5 hours while emergency responders worked on-site.
The crash is currently under investigation by police.
