Highway Patrol Identifies Drivers Involved in Fatal Fargo Motorcycle Crash.

FARGO — A motorcycle crash on Saturday, Aug. 9, resulted in the death of a 31-year-old man on Broadway near 29th Avenue North.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Alex Frank of Fargo was riding a 2022 Yamaha Sport Motorcycle southbound at a high rate of speed around 1:55 p.m. Witnesses reported that Frank failed to stop at a red light and collided with the front passenger side of a westbound 2005 Toyota Corolla driven by Rebecca Radeck, 59, also of Fargo.

Frank was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. Authorities stated that Radeck was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the incident.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol. Lane closures were reported in the area during the response.
