KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a crash early Wednesday morning in Kansas City.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, crews responded at approximately 3:40 a.m. to N. Chouteau Pkwy near 34th St. after receiving reports of an accident.
Authorities say a black homemade motorcycle was traveling north on N. Chouteau Pkwy when it hit the east side of the curb north of NE 34th Terr.
The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle. Emergency medical personnel transported the individual to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As of 7 a.m., the motorcyclist remains in critical condition.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
