HPD Investigates Fatal E-Bike Crash in Ewa Beach.

EWA BEACH (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 23-year-old man was killed in an electric motorcycle crash in Ewa Beach early Monday morning.

The incident occurred on Kuhina Street at approximately 2:30 a.m.

According to police, the man was traveling westbound at high speed when he lost control and collided with a parked vehicle.

He was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Authorities noted he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

While speed is confirmed as a factor, it remains unclear if drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident.

This incident marks the 57th traffic fatality on Oahu this year, an increase from 28 fatalities at the same time in 2024.
