BURLEY, Idaho (CBS2) — A 59-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash on Bedke Boulevard in Burley late Friday night, Idaho State Police reported.
The incident occurred at 10:21 p.m. on August 28, 2026, at 1033 W. Bedke Blvd. A 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by the 59-year-old Heyburn man, collided with a southbound 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 33-year-old Burley man.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene despite wearing a helmet. Authorities confirmed the Jeep driver suffered minor injuries but did not require transport to a medical facility; he was wearing a seat belt.
Bedke Boulevard was closed for approximately two hours while emergency personnel responded. The Cassia County Sheriff’s Department, Burley Fire Department, and medics from Cassia Regional Hospital assisted at the scene.
The crash is currently under investigation by Idaho State Police.
