BOWMAN COUNTY, N.D. — A 67-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 12 west of Bowman on July 3.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. at mile marker 30, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Timothy Pendergrass was driving a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree in the ditch.
Authorities suspect that Pendergrass experienced a medical incident prior to the crash. He was wearing a seat belt at the time, and road conditions were dry with normal weather. Pendergrass was transported by Bowman Ambulance Service to Bowman Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the incident. No lane closures or other roadway impacts have been reported.
