A motorcyclist was killed in a crash southeast of Hennepin on Saturday morning.
At 9:02 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to Hattons Road and County Road 600 North for a reported motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, they found 52-year-old Jason Lowery of Kouts, Indiana, unresponsive in a ditch.
A Life Flight helicopter was summoned, but Lowery was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation into the crash is ongoing. No additional details regarding other vehicles or potential witnesses have been confirmed.
