Two motorcycles collided with a vehicle on M-6 near 44th Street at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Thursday, resulting in multiple injuries.
Authorities said a total of three motorcycles and one car were involved in the crash. Two riders were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, while another rider sustained minor injuries. The car driver reported no injuries.
Emergency response included the CALHOUN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE and two ambulances from MEDICAL EMERGENCY SERVICES. The incident caused lane closures on M-6, with traffic being rerouted while investigators assessed the scene.
According to officials, the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, with no charges filed at this time. The roadway is expected to remain closed for several hours as cleanup and investigation continue.
