ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WSBT) — A sport bike driver is in critical condition following a collision with an SUV Friday evening in St. Joseph County.
The accident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 23 and 26th Street.
According to authorities, the sport bike was traveling southwest on State Road 23 when the SUV turned left onto 26th Street.
The sport bike driver was transported to a local hospital, where they remain in critical, but stable condition.
Emergency crews from the St. Joseph County Police Department responded to the scene, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
No additional injuries have been reported. Lane closures were implemented while responders worked at the scene.
