TOWN OF OAKFIELD, N.Y. (WKBW) — A motorcyclist was pronounced dead following a crash on Batavia Oakfield Townline Road on Saturday night.
According to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. A black 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, operated by 52-year-old James Emery of Oakfield, collided with another vehicle.
Emery was declared dead at the scene. The exact cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Authorities are seeking witnesses and reviewing area video footage.
