Joplin Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash Near Saginaw
NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM/KJFX) — A 57-year-old man from Joplin died in a motorcycle crash on Reinmiller Road on July 1, 2026, at approximately 8 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the northbound motorcycle, a 2019 Harley Davidson Road King, crashed after attempting to avoid an obstruction in the roadway. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders from Redings Mill Fire, Newton County Ambulance, and Newton County Deputies arrived promptly, with MSHP also notified. The Newton County Coroner was called to the scene.
Chuck’s Towing removed the motorcycle and debris. No further injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
