JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM/KJFX) — A 57-year-old Joplin man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Reinmiller Road, just north of Cedar Drive, Wednesday evening.
Authorities responded to the incident at approximately 8 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) was notified, along with Redings Mill Fire, Newton County Ambulance, and Newton County Deputies.
The victim was riding a 2019 Harley Davidson Road King, which reportedly crashed while attempting to avoid an obstruction in the roadway. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Newton County Coroner has been notified and has arrived to handle the situation. Chuck’s Towing was called to remove the motorcycle and debris.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
