Junction City Woman Dies in Motorcycle Accident.

GEARY COUNTY—A Junction City woman died in a motorcycle accident just before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday in Geary County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Jeremy W. Williams, 49, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, was westbound on Old Highway 40 near Kansas Falls Road. Williams failed to negotiate a curve and lost control.

Both the driver and his passenger, Amanda W. Conrad, 38, of Junction City, were ejected from the motorcycle. Conrad was pronounced dead at the scene, while Williams was transported by EMS to Stormont Vail Health – Flint Hills Campus.

Authorities confirmed that neither Williams nor Conrad was wearing helmets at the time of the incident. The crash remains under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
